Food Consumption Management in Urban Households in Indonesia

The most significant contributor to the increase in food waste Indonesia is household sectors, mainly urban areas. One approach reducing Food Consumption Management (FCM). However, application of FCM at level strongly influenced by various aspects. This study aims determine relationship between socio-economic aspects and consumption management conducted four major cities during Covid-19 pandemic. Primary data was collected using a digital questionnaire distributed households Medan, Yogyakarta, Surabaya, Denpasar. A total 149 respondents were obtained analyzed descriptively. Meanwhile, Pearson correlation method. results this reveal that income number family members are factors closely related (FCM), especially terms providing, storing, disposing waste.
